We believe that God's power to heal is always available and that he invites us to come to his throne of grace to receive help in time of need.

There are many scriptures in the Bible that point to God's promises for wholeness and health for his people. When Jesus first began his earthly ministry, he stood up in the synogogue and began to read out of the book of Isaiah. He read, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has annointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor,“ (Luke 4:18).

Jesus continued to preach about God's love for His people, his desire to set the captives free and to open the eyes of the blind (physically and spiritually). He also instructed the disciples to continue to do the same, “to make disciples of all nations,” (Matthew 28:19). He promised that these signs would accompany those that believe. They would lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover,” (Mark 16:18).

Here are a few other scriptures on healing:

By His stripes, we are healed, (Isaiah 53:5)

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and do not forget all his benefits –
who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, (Psalm 103:2-3)

He sent out His word and healed them, (Psalm 107:20)

He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed, (lst Peter 2:24)
